Tony Reali and his wife, Samiya Edwards, went to France for their honeymoon.
As Tony Reali prepares to sign off on the final edition of Around the Horn, airing this Friday on ESPN, he has reflected on his time hosting the program for the last 21 years while thinking about his future.
Reali, who recently as a guest on an episode of the Dan Patrick Show on Monday, May 19, 2026, laid out several potential plans for his next gig.
Tony explained that he is under contract with ESPN through the end of August. He outlined how he learned the news and discussed solutions with management. He said,
“The show is based and the bones of the show is journalism, and when this one goes away, there ain’t any more because I love Tony [Kornheiser] and Mike [Wilbon], they’re not writing in The Washington Post on deadline tomorrow,”
He also explained that he reached out to people with whom he works, including executive producer Erik Rydholm and coordinating producer Aaron Solomon. Reali added,
I know 4,953 episodes doesn’t happen by accident, it doesn’t happen even when somebody’s also doing a podcast and a streaming show and covering games on the weekend,” “I know what I needed to put to do that, so now I’m trying to imagine, ‘Well, what else could the network want?,’ and I would love to have that conversation still.”
Reali also talked about having an Italian-type of goodbye for the last six months, receiving notes, presents, and well wishes from people.
Before Tony gets too wrapped up in his next job, he still has four shows left of Around the Horn to get through.
Tony Reali’s Wife, Samiya Edwards, Is The Graduate Of Stanford University
ESPN’s Tony Reali Samiya Edwards in 2001 when Samiya was a server at Buffalo Billiards in Washington, D.C.
The couple married in the Virgin Islands on July 3, 2008, and honeymooned in France. They have been married for over 16 years.
As per Samiya’s profile, she attended Stanford University from 1999 to 2000 and later received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
She pursued her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in 2011.
Samiya served as the summer associate at Emerging Capital Partners and as a consultant at Accion in 2012.
Since June 2012, she has been the full-time managing partner at Libera Partners.
Tony Reali Shares Two Daughters And One Son With His Wife, Samiya
Tony and Samiya faced a long and emotional journey to parenthood.
However, they welcomed their first child, a daughter, Francesca Zahra Reali, 12, in 2014.
On Father’s Day 2018, Tony took to his official Instagram handle and announced that he and his wife were expecting twin sons.
Although one of the boys, Amadeo, died unexpectedly before birth, the other boy, Enzo, was born healthy.
On June 17, 2018, Reali took to his Instagram handle and announced the tragic news. He wrote,
Heartened by Father’s Day wishes. In recognition that this day like all things in life could mean different things to different people -parent and child, positive and negative-I’d like to speak here about fathers who’ve experienced loss. This month I became one. Anyone within a galaxy of me knows we were expecting twins. We lost Amadeo in the moments leading up to childbirth. We delivered Enzo weeks early in an emergency. Last week was our memorial mass for Amadeo. This week Enzo came home happy, healthy and strong.
Tony and Samiya welcomed their second daughter, Antonella, 4, on October 18, 2026.
On December 11, 2026, Tony took Antonella to the barber shop for a haircut and shared a on his official Twitter handle.
