Elijah Patrick Mobley, a 16-year-old from Indianapolis, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on May 11, 2026.

According to a news release, officers responded to the accident around 5 a.m. near Old Plank Road and Carlisle Street in Bargersville, Indiana.

Mobley, the driver, had struck a residential garage, though the exact circumstances leading to the crash remain under investigation.

It is in the accident, as an open container was found in the vehicle. However, toxicology reports are still pending at this time.

The Bargersville police are working to determine the cause, while the coroner’s office has yet to confirm the official cause and manner of death.

Eli Mobley Excelled In Both Football And Baseball!

was a football player at Boiling Springs High School in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

He played as a wide receiver for the varsity team and was part of the Class of 2026, showcasing his performances against teams like Mauldin High School, Greer High School, and Dutch Fork High School.

Moreover, he played against other teams such as Spartanburg High School, Gaffney High School, and Dorman High School.
