- When he was only 6 years old, he began to go to classes at the Oldham Theatre Workshop and he debuted on the small screen on a Saturday Disney report by appearing as Charlie in Charlie Is My Darling, which he also performed in an exclusive show at the London Palladium.
- Strictly champion Kelvin has disclosed that he never had any dance training and the secrets behind his incredible win in the competition boiled down to hard work, dedication, and a little bit of his inborn groove. He has also been full of praise for his family for giving him the best support possible through the intensive 13 hour days in training that he had taken.
