Parker, CO Native and Legend High School Baseball Standout, Tyler Harvey, 18, Passes Away After Courageous Battle With Sarcoma

Parker, Colorado, is mourning the untimely death of their beloved native and standout athlete, Tyler Harvey.

Tyler Harvey passed away on Monday, November 3, 2026, at an untimely age of 18 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

According to a, Tyler was diagnosed with Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that occurs in the bones and soft tissues, in early 2026.

Initially, the doctors put Tyler on a pill instead of chemo to try and get rid of the cancer and hope it would work. Unfortunately, the pill didn’t work, and Tyler underwent several rounds of chemotherapy.

Despite his year-long courageous battle with Cancer, Tyler Harvey couldn’t survive.

Furthermore, the untimely death of Tyler Harvey has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.

Tyler touched the lives of many with his kind-hearted nature and inspired people and young athletes with his incredible sports journey.

Despite his battle with cancer, Tyler didn’t stop pursuing his passion for baseball and recently committed to continue his athletic career at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, before his untimely demise.

The Late Tyler Harvey Was a Proud Graduate of Legend High School

was a 2026 graduate from Legend High School in Parker, Colorado, where he played varsity baseball for the Legend Titans, wearing jersey No. 13.

Standing 6’4”, Harvey was a left-handed pitcher and first baseman who batted left and threw left.

Furthemore he competed for Slammers Holzemer and MMW Colorado Victus 17U and also represented the Legend Titans baseball program.

His top fastball reached 90.6 mph, with consistent fastball velocity around 87 mph, a changeup averaging 80.2 mph, and a breaking ball near 73 mph; he also recorded an 88 mph infield velocity and a 6.9-second 60-yard dash.

Harvey’s strongest pitching performance came on July 19, 2026, against Aces National 2026, throwing 6.2 innings with five hits allowed, two runs, one earned run, nine strikeouts, and one walk.

Offensively, his best outing occurred on October 9, 2026, versus the South Florida Giants, producing two hits, one run, one RBI, and two total bases.

Harvey earned several honorable titles and awards for his remarkable athletic career.

He played two years of varsity baseball with one season as a starter. Academically, Harvey earned All-Academic First Team Honor Roll honors from freshman through junior year, completed Honors Math courses during that time, and registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

The youngest of three siblings, himself as highly competitive in baseball, academics, and even family game nights.

Harvey also participated in the PBR Colorado State Games in August 2026 and was involved in Coliseum Crazy at Legend High School for 2026–2026 under head coach Scott Boyd.

Tyler Harvey’s remarkable contributions to the Parker community, both as an athlete and in his inspiring battle with cancer, will always be remembered.

Tyler Harvey is survived by his mother, Dur Wyatt Harvey; father; siblings; grandparents; uncles; aunts; cousins; and the entire family.
