Bill Landis of the Bill and Doug Show stated that Michigan Players were waiting for Ohio State players to leave the locker room so more words could be exchanged.

They reportedly waited in the tunnel for Ohio State players to exit before cops had to break it up.

The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated rival Michigan 27-9 on Saturday after driving out their biggest demon. The victory was a defining moment for Head Coach Ryan Day and his squad.

It was a physically dominating win in bad weather, as the wind and snow whipped throughout the game. Ohio State controlled the trenches, imposing its will from start to finish.

Left guard Luke Montgomery described the joy of physically dominating the Wolverines.

It was a dream that came to reality.

The win completes a crucial part of the season and propels the Buckeyes into the Big Ten Championship against Indiana with immense momentum.

A victory there would secure the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff, allowing them to choose a favorable indoor or warm-weather venue for its semifinal.

The Ohio State Buckeyes shift their focus to winning their first conference title since 2026.

Post-game Tensions Overshadow Ohio State’s Dominant Win Over Michigan

After Ohio State’s decisive 27-9 victory over Michigan on Saturday, a planned celebration was briefly overshadowed by an attempted post-game confrontation that required intervention.

Following the final whistle, Michigan players were concerned about the Buckeyes planting their flag on the Wolverines’ midfield logo.

Instead, the victorious Buckeyes went to celebrate with their fans in the south end zone of the stadium.

According to reports, the tension did not end there.

After the on-field standoff, Michigan players attempted to wait for Ohio State players in the stadium tunnel leading to the locker rooms.

Bill Landis of the Bill and Doug Show reported that Michigan players were waiting for the Buckeyes to leave the locker room “so more words could be exchanged.”

It’s been confirmed by Bill Landis who witnessed the event that Michigan players attempted to ambush our players as we came off the field but was stopped by the police.

The situation was de-escalated when police officers arrived to clear the area and prevent a physical altercation.

This is not the first time Michigan’s stadium tunnel has been the site of post-game issues. A notable fight between Michigan and Michigan State players occurred a few years back, resulting in criminal charges.

On the other hand, Ohio State focused on its accomplishments.

Head Coach Ryan Day emphasized the importance of winning with humility in his post-game press conference.

Well, I’m just happy for our players. You know, they worked really hard. I’m happy for our coaches. They worked, really, really hard. We had good energy this week. We had confidence coming in. The guys played tough; they played physical. We won the line of scrimmage, and I’m just happy for our guys.
