- In 2016, Brian launched the Wishbone restaurant in Dublin with his friends Jamie Kenny and James Stimpson. The eatery specializes in buffalo wings and opened its 2nd outlet at Kilkenny in 2019.
- His 2011 single, Just the Way You Are (Drunk at the Bar) was heavily criticized for glorifying the date r*pe culture. In response, Brian vowed to forward all proceeds from the song to victims of s**ual assault.
- He was banned from driving for 6 months in 2018 following multiple accounts of speeding. Additionally, he was asked to pay a fine of £450.
