Guilherme Samaia is a Brazilian professional racing driver who first came into the spotlight after winning the junior-level feeder competition Formula 3 Brazil Light in 2015. The Cesário F3 team with whom he had won the title then offered him to race in the 2016 Formula 3 Brasil championship, the highest-profile single-seater championship in South America. He impressed by winning 3 races and finishing his rookie season in 2nd position. The following year, he dominated the championship with 13 wins in 16 races and defeated his nearest rival by a massive margin of 87 points. After consistent success in Brazil, he moved to Europe and competed in the BRDC British Formula 3 series, the Euroformula Open Championship, the Spanish Formula 3 Championship, and the Euroformula Open Winter Series from 2017 to 2019. In 2026, he began competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with the Campos Racing team.

- Like most professional racing drivers, Guilherme began his racing career by participating in karting competitions. He had participated in the 2012 Florida Winter Tour – Rotax Junior championship. The tournament did not end well for him as he finished 47th in a field of 63 racers.
- He shifted to single-seater competition in 2013 when he competed in 2 of the 16 races in the Fórmula Junior Brazil championship where he collected 10 points and finished in 16th place.
- When he won the Formula 3 Brazil Light competition in 2015, he finished on the podium in 13 of the 16 races and also scored 6 race wins.
- His triumph at the 2013 Formula 3 Brasil championship was even more dominant as he never finished outside the top 8 in any of the races. He won 13 of the 16 races and finished 5th, 8th, and 2nd in the 3 races that he did not win.
