- In 2008, she made her Kannada film debut by playing the character named Amaravathi in the romantic film Manasugula Mathu Madhura.
- Hariprriya made her Tamil debut as Sandhya in the 2010 action film, Kanagavel Kaaka.
- Her Telugu debut came in the 2010 coming-of-age film, Thakita Thakita, in which she appeared as Chandana.
- In 2012, she bought to life the character of Anjali Narayanan in the Malayalam-language action film, Thiruvambadi Thamban. This film marked Hariprriya’s Malayalam film debut.
- Kannada film Soojidara‘s director Mounesh Badiger accused Hariprriya of defaming his film in 2019. He even lodged a complaint with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, accusing her of portraying the film in a negative way.
- Hariprriya co-starred as Siddhambe in the 2026 Kannada language historical-period film, Bicchugatti: Chapter 1 − Dalvayi Dange, which is an adaptation of the novel Bichhugathi Baramanna Nayaka by Dr. B.L Venu’s. This role got her nominated for a Chandanavana Film Critics Award for “Best Actress” in 2026.
