    Harry Tincknell Facts

    1. Harry, like most professional racers, had started his racing career with karts. He had started competing in karting competitions in 2001, at the age of just 10. In his last season at the karting level, 2008, he had finished as a runner-up at the Euro Rotax Max Challenge.
    2. At the 2009 Formula Renault UK championship, he had stood 5th on the overall leaderboard with 323 points. Although he did not win any of the 19 races, he managed to earn 4 podium positions which earned him the ‘Graduate Cup’ title as the best rookie in the competition.
    3. In 2011, while competing at the British Formula 3 Championship, he had suffered a freak accident at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps race track in Belgium, which left him with a broken right hand. He returned to the UK for surgery and the injury ended his entire season.
    4. When he won the race at the Silverstone Circuit during the 2013 FIA Formula 3 European Championship, he became the first British driver to win a round in the competition since former F1 driver Johnny Dumfries.
    5. In 2016, he was honored with the ‘The John Cobb Memorial Trophy’, an annual award presented by the BRDC (British Racing Drivers’ Club) to a British driver, driving a British car, who has achieved outstanding success throughout the year.
