- He played the role of Albert in the European romantic comedy film, &ME, in 2013.
- From 2014 to 2016, Howard Charles brought to life the character of Porthos du Vallon in the BBC period action drama program, The Musketeers, based on the characters from Alexandre Dumas’s 1844 novel The Three Musketeers.
