However, it was Pamela who initiated divorce proceedings against James in 1962 for lack of support and claimed adultery on his part with three Jane Does. It resulted in a $1m divorce settlement.

    5. James Mason’s autobiography titled was published in 1981.
    6. He described  as the greatest female actor of all time.
