    2. In 1926, he brought to life the character of Howard Jeffries Jr. in the silent romance film The Third Degree.
    3. Alongside Irène Bordoni, Jack Buchanan, Louise Closser Hale, and ZaSu Pitts, Jason Robards Sr. co-starred as Andrew Sabbot in the pre-Code musical comedy film Paris in 1929.
    4. Along with Kenneth MacKenna, , and Regis Toomey, Jason Robards Sr. co-starred as Frank Oakes in the pre-Code comedy film Crazy That Way in 1930.
    5. He played the role of Charlie Wong in the pre-Code crime film The Law of the Tong in 1931.
