- He was dropped by Huddersfield Town in 2012 after suffering a leg injury. As a result, he worked at a construction site for the next couple of months for as little as £50 a shift.
- Josh scored his first professional hat-trick in January 2018 which helped Rangers with a 3-0 victory over Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup.
