    1. He was in high school when he started writing in order to cope with his father’s death. The main subject of his compositions used to focus on his father’s murder.
    2. On December 5, 2011, King Los released the mixtape The Crown Ain’t Safe and it featured guest appearances by artists like Lola Monroe, , , , , and XV.
    3. P. Diddy announced to MTV on February 6, 2012, that King Los had been signed to Bad Boy Records.
    4. He released his mixtape Becoming King on April 25, 2013, via Bad Boy Records. It garnered generally positive reviews from the critics and XXL gave the mixtape a positive review saying, “There are heartfelt tales touching on his family, love for music and the trials and tribulations of life. As usual, Los’ strongest asset is an ability to deliver vivid imagery through lyrics and a captivating flow[…] Lyrically…the mixtape is a continuation of the verbal assaults he’s known for.”
    5. In March 2014, King Los revealed that he was leaving Bad Boy Records and Interscope and later told MTV, “I’ve chose to explore other endeavors just like my mentor; just like Puff.”

Marsha Ambrosius), Ghetto BoyGod Money WarLil Black Boy, Black Blood (ft. Isaiah Rashad and Kent Jamz), Glory to the Lord (ft. R. Kelly), Can’t Fade Us (ft.
