    1. He spent his childhood years growing up in Lake Forest, Orange County.
    2. In his junior year in 2008, El Toro won the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section championship and Nolan was named to the Los Angeles Times‘ All-Star team after leading his division with a .456 batting average, 32 runs batted in (RBI), and 33 runs scored.
    3. Nolan Arenado batted .517, .615 on-base percentage (OBP), five home runs (HR), 14 doubles, and a triple as a senior and was again named to the Los Angeles Times‘ All-Star team.
    4. In the 2009 MLB draft, he was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the second round with the 59th overall selection.
    5. He made his professional debut with the Casper Ghosts of the Rookie-level Pioneer League.
    6. He played for the Asheville Tourists of the Class A South Atlantic League in 2010 and posted a .308 batting average and 41 doubles.
    7. Arenado was ranked as the Rockies‘ third-best prospect and 80th overall by Baseball America before the 2011 season.
    8. At the 2011 All-Star Futures Game, he went on to represent the Rockies and finished the season with a .298 batting average and 20 home runs, leading the minor leagues with 122 RBI. He was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Arizona Fall League (AFL) the same year.

    11. In a game against the Atlanta Braves, he suffered a mallet fracture of his left middle finger on a headfirst slide into second base on May 23, 2014. As a result, he was placed on the 15-day disabled list (DL) and the injury made him miss 37 games.
    12. He became a part of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2026 and hit his first home run as a Cardinal at Great American Ball Park in a 9–6 loss to the Cincinnati Reds on March 29, 2026.
