To enhance her gorgeous curves and to lose some weight, Porsha enlisted the help of Darrell Patterson, who is the founder of the Atlanta-based Raising the Bar Fitness studio. Darrell had trained Porsha with a special emphasis on cardio and core work. To define her midsection, he had her performing various versions of and sit-ups including Turkish getups with a barbell.

To sculpt her famous booty, he had her perform a different variation of such as close feet and wide feet squats. She also used to make her lower body workout even more effective. Plus, she also did mild lifting exercises.

When she was 24 years old, she opened her own daycare facility as she wanted to follow her parents’ in opening her own business.
In March 2014, she assaulted her The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star after she claimed that she had cheated on her husband Kordell during their marriage.
In December 2014, she was arrested by the authorities for speeding while possessing a suspended license. She was released the same day.
In 2013, she launched her own range of hair care products.
She brought to life the character of Andromeda in Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, a 2017 made-for-television science fiction comedy disaster film and the 5th installment in the Sharknado film series. The film stars , , , and Billy Barratt.
