$NOT is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who has published solo studio albums titled – Tragedy + (March 2026), Beautiful Havoc (October 2026), and Ethereal (February 2026). The last of these albums peaked within the ‘Top 70’ of both the Billboard 200 (a record chart that ranks the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States) and the Canadian Albums Chart (the official record chart that ranks the 100 most popular music albums and EPs in Canada). $NOT has also released numerous non-album singles as well as an EP (extended play) titled The Tissue Files (April 2018).

- Born in Brooklyn, New York City, $NOT and his family moved to Lake Worth Beach, Florida, when he was about 7 years old. This was the place where he would begin his music career – about 12 years later, in 2016. At that time, he used to release his music via SoundCloud (one of the largest music streaming services in the world).
- He came into the spotlight in late 2018 after the release of his breakout single – titled Gosha. The track was certified ‘Platinum’ by the RIAA (The Recording Industry Association of America – a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States).
- Billy Boy (2019), a non-album single by $NOT, was featured in the pilot episode (aired in June 2019) of Euphoria, a highly popular American teen drama TV series.
- In April 2026, he released a non-album single titled Whipski. It became his career’s first track to reach a major chart – peaking at number 25 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 (a chart published weekly by Billboard (an American music and entertainment magazine) that lists the top songs that have not yet charted on the main Billboard Hot 100).
- In May 2026, $NOT collaborated with fellow rapper on a track titled Tell Em. The song became both of these artists’ debut on the Billboard Hot 100 (the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by Billboard magazine) – peaking at number 64. It also peaked at number 1 on NZ Hot, the weekly record chart that enlists the top 40 singles and albums in New Zealand. It was certified ‘Double Platinum’ by the RIAA as well.
