According to her confession on her YouTube channel, SSSniperWolf finished high school a semester early. Then, she began taking classes at a local community college to figure out what she wanted to do. But she recounts her experience at the community college as “terrible”.
After a semester, she transferred to a university where she wanted to do something in medicine. In the beginning, she was more interested in studying pharmacy. She studied chemistry and completed her pre-pharmacy classes.
After a year, she got bored with chemistry classes and switched to nursing which meant more of biology classes. She was unhappy with her career choice even as she had finished all of her prerequisites for nursing. She then decided to take a break and concentrate on her business.

- Lia’s first dog is named Kaz. Kaz was actually a Pomeranian dog of her ex-boyfriend Evan. But, after they moved in together, she adopted the dog from Evan.
- Lumpy was her second dog. Again, a Pomeranian. Lumpy was initially named Luna.
- In April 2015, Lia adopted her 3rd dog named Tuna. Tuna died in 2016 after getting attacked by a wild coyote.
- In January 2019, Lia adopted a Pomeranian dog named Ashe. Ashe name has been taken from Overwatch.
