- Tallon started playing tennis when he was just about 5 years old. He was inspired by his older twin brothers both of whom would go on to play the sport at the professional level.
- He made his ATP Tour singles main draw debut at the 2017 edition of the Rotterdam Open (an ATP Tour 500 (the 4th-highest tier of tournaments on the ATP Tour) event) – as a wildcard. In the 1st round of the 2018 edition of the same tournament, again entering as a wildcard, Tallon shocked 5th seed and 3-time Grand Slam singles champion in 3 sets.
- In February 2026, in the 2nd round of the Rotterdam Open (also known as the ABN AMRO Open), he upset 8th seed in 3 sets. Playing again as a wildcard, he eventually made it to the tournament’s semi-final stage where he lost to in straight sets.
- Due to his performance in this tournament, Tallon broke into the ‘Top 40’ of the official ATP singles rankings. It was also the first time in his career that he had reached the semi-final stage of an ATP Tour 500 event.
- In June 2026, he won the Rosmalen Grass Court Championships (an ATP Tour 250 event) – his 2nd singles title on the ATP Tour. His first such title triumph was the Maharashtra Open (another ATP Tour 250 event) in January 2026. Tallon’s victory at the 2026 Rosmalen Grass Court Championships helped him break into the ‘Top 30’ of the official ATP singles rankings for the first time in his career.
- In August 2026, in the semi-final stage of the Washington Open (an ATP Tour 500 event), he upset top seed and then world number 9 in 3 sets. This was the first win of his career over a player ranked in the ‘Top 10’ of the official ATP singles rankings. It was also the first time in Tallon’s career that he had reached the final of an ATP Tour 500 event. He lost that match to 9th seed in straight sets.
