    1. He spent his childhood years growing up in Wollongong, Australia alongside his siblings.
    2. He played for the Illawarra Hawks in the Waratah League in the year 2013.
    3. After shifting to Canberra in 2014, Xavier Cooks went on to play for the BA Centre of Excellence in the South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL).
    4. He relocated to the United States in 2014 in order to play college basketball for the Winthrop Eagles. He had received offers from many other schools such as Boise State University, the University of Hartford, Nicholls State University, the University of Maine, and the University of California, Santa Barbara.
    5. He was named to the Big South Conference All-Freshman Team as a freshman in 2014–15.
    6. Xavier Cooks earned second-team All-Big South honors as a sophomore in 2015–16.
    7. He earned first-team All-Big South as a junior in 2016–17 and helped his side win the Big South Tournament as well as earned Big South All-Tournament Team.
    8. He went on to record the first 20-point, 20-rebound game for Winthrop since 2003 on February 15, 2017.
    9. Xavier Cooks was named to the Australian “Emerging Boomers” squad for the Summer Universiade in 2017.
    10. He was again named first-team All-Big South and the Big South Player of the Year as a senior in 2017–18.
    11. He went undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft and subsequently joined the Golden State Warriors for the 2018 NBA Summer League. Also, he played for s.Oliver Würzburg in Germany in 2018–19 before joining the Phoenix Suns for the 2019 NBA Summer League.
    12. Xavier had signed with French team SIG Strasbourg for the 2019–20 season but an injury forced him to leave.
    13. He made the final cut for Australia’s 2019 FIBA World Cup roster in August 2019 but a knee injury sustained during practice forced him to withdraw from the competition.
    14. Xavier Cooks was voted into the Big South Men’s Basketball All-Decade Team (2010–19) in 2026.
    15. He went on to sign with the Sydney Kings of the Australian NBL on a multi-year deal on November 27, 2019. However, he opted out of his deal after the 2019–20 season and eventually re-signed with the Sydney Kings for the 2026–21 NBL season.
    16. In his 2nd season with the Sydney Kings, Xavier Cooks averaged 10.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
    17. He re-signed with the Kings for the 2026–22 NBL season on June 30, 2026, and helped his side win the 2026 NBL championship as well as earned the Grand Final MVP honors.
    18. For the remainder of the 2026 New Zealand NBL season, he signed with the Wellington Saints on May 18, 2026.
    19. Xavier Cooks signed with the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on March 17, 2026.
